Loved being surrounded by bars and shops, sooo convenient! The free WiFi was a nice touch, and the tiled floors made me feel like I was in a traditional Spanish home. Public transport links were fantastic, made getting around a breeze.
Oh, the joy of not being able to open the tiny window in my room! So refreshing to breathe the same stagnant air for days.

Great location in the center of the old town, close to restaurants, pubs, and points of interest. Very quiet for sleeping at night. Clean facilities. Helpful and friendly staff available 24 hours a day.
Nothing for us.

I recently stayed at a small hotel in the heart of an old town. It was conveniently located near many restaurants and cafes, making it easy to find a place to eat. The hotel was also close to public transport, making it convenient for exploring the city. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a TV and air conditioning. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and the towels were changed daily. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests.
The only downside was that the shower in my room was a bit small. It was functional, but it was a bit difficult to avoid the shower curtain sticking to me.

The rooms at Hostal Canalejas have a cozy and practical design, which I really liked. They are air-conditioned and have tiled floors, making the atmosphere comfortable and cool.
Personally, I found the interior-facing room with views of a patio a bit disappointing. But hey, it's just my subjective opinion, and others might actually enjoy the peaceful view.
